Development Considerations Plan
This Public Consultation has now closed. Thank you for all comments received, which will be considered by Lagan Homes.
The assessment of the Site has identified a number of key factors that will be taken into account:
- The network of Public Rights of Way;
- Consideration of how to integrate Burroughs Road into the development proposals and how this key route can retain its rural character;
- The retention of trees and field boundaries;
- The provision of adequate drainage systems and water storage to control run-off from the proposed development;
- Improvements to the ecology and amenity value of the Site;
- The potential to ease congestion on Main Street;
- Proximity to and appreciation of the National Forest;
- Recreation provision at Burroughs Road;
- The consideration of views into and out of the Site and proximity of the Conservation Area.
